Trio Resonance is a classical guitar trio comprised of Noe Garcia, Li Zhi and Hector Alfonso Torres.

They are a young and energetic ensemble who are currently working on their DMA, Doctoral of Musical Arts, under Professor Thomas Johnson and serving as teaching fellows at the University of North Texas, UNT. Apart from their active performing career, they have been top prize winners in many international guitar competitions, including Classical Minds (Houston), Southern Guitar Music Festival and Competition (South Carolina), Appalachian State Guitar Music Festival (North Carolina), Mountain View Classical Guitar Competition (Texas), Lone Star Guitar Festival (Texas), International Tennessee Guitar Festival (Tennessee), Baldwin Wallace International Guitar Festival and Competition (Ohio), among others.

They have also studied with many world-renowned artist including, Pepe Romero, Roland Dyens, Eliot Fisk, Zoran Dukic, Adam Holzman, Aniello Desiderio, Denis Azabagic, Marcin Dylla, the LAGQ, among others.

They have devoted themselves towards expanding the guitar trio repertoire by arranging works of great composer like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Sebastian Bach, also by playing new works written for guitar trio like the Second Brasileira Suite by the famous guitar composer Sergio Assad and Suite Seattle by Kevin Callahan. Their vision is to tap into the potential and expressiveness of the guitar trio ensemble in order to generate more "resonance" with their listeners. Apart from playing throughout the U.S, for the past two summers they have toured China playing in cities like Jinan, Suzhou, Dalian, and Beijing, among others.
